Here's something I picked out of this months Maxim I got in my stocking. Maxim was asking Norm Macdonald about his home country, and I like his response. I think he certainly illustrates a difference we have with our friendly neighbours from the south right here.
Maxim: You're originally from Canada. What do you miss about the Great White North?
Norm Macdonald: I like to fight. I noticed when I came to America that people don't fight that much. In Canada we fight because, first, we play hockey, and hockey teaches you to fight at a young age. Second, we drink. And third, we don't have guns. In America you can't fight safely because the other guy might have a firearm.
ANOTHER CHRISTMAS OVER AND DONE WITH, AND NEW YEARS ON THE WAY
It's hard to believe that I've been in Prince George for two and a half weeks, approaching thre. With Christmas over and one with, and the weekend over, I look at the calendar and realize school starts again in only a week! Wow! I don't want to leave all my family, friends, and free meals behind. It's too bad I have to leave. I just don't get to see enough of these people. My sister is off to Edmonton tomorrow to celebrate New Years, so tonight is my last chance to see her for a while. Oh well, the rest of the family will still be around I guess. I like Kamloops, and have to admit that the friends I've met there are some of the coolest I've ever had. But Prince George has so much history, and memories for me. Oh well, life goes on, maybe I'll be able to come back up here in the summer. We'll see. As far as New Years, I'm still unsure what I'll be doing. I'll have something to post about it New Years day though I can certainly tell you that.
